Divine Priestess was introduced to magic around the age of 6 by her mother, however she has been in-tune with spirit and her gifts younger that that. Divine Priestess comes from a Southern Baptist background, being involved in the church - from choir to drill team. She comes from a bloodline of seers, card readers, medicine women/men, philosophers and more. It wasn’t until after moving on from an abusive relationship Divine Priestess began taking the knowledge she learned as a child and began working with magic and soon her ancestors. Fast forward, 2017 she when she was introduced to Orisha via her ancestors but did not fully commit until 2023 - when she underwent initiation into priesthood. Divine Priestess would now be known as Iya Omilana after her initiating into the mysterious of Yemoja.
